An Evening with Jacob Collier

Join us for the inaugural performance at the William and Charlotte Bloomberg Public Science Common with a truly singular evening featuring one of the most inventive and boundary-pushing artists of our time: Jacob Collier. Beloved by audiences, musicians, and critics around the world, the seven-time GRAMMY winner is a singer-songwriter, producer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and world-builder whose fearless approach to music has redefined what a live musical experience can be. Jacob will join us for an intimate fireside chat, and a full-length performance set specially designed and imagined for the Bloomberg Public Science Common and the Museum of Science. Known for transforming concert halls into collective instruments- improvising with audiences, collaborating across genres, and finding musical possibilities where others see limitations- Jacob brings a spirit of curiosity, connection, and joyful experimentation to everything he creates. His latest album, The Light For Days, finds him turning inward, exploring the intimacy and possibilities of his signature Taylor acoustic guitars. It offers a glimpse into another side of an artist whose work continually asks: What else is possible? Join us for the beginning of something new—an evening where music, technology, creativity, and human connection come together in the Bloomberg Public Science Common.
