Planning to visit Boston on Independence Day weekend
Any suggestions for planning the itinerary on budget? We’re students on a low income🥲. I’m visiting with my boyfriend over the weekend. We’re planning to catch a flight on 4th early morning or 3rd night from DC. And stay till the Sunday. Please feel free to suggest any must visit places as this is our first time. Also any budget places to stay? Thanks!!😆

Boston Pops July 4th Fireworks Spectacular 2025
Someone already recommended this, but I am going to recommend it again seeing as though you’re here on the Fourth. This is one of the country‘s largest July 4th fireworks displays and it is magnificent. Arrive at the Esplanade early if you would like to see the Boston Pops perform live 🎆

Felipe's Taqueria Harvard Square Roof Deck
great rooftop and food in Harvard Square. fairly cheap food and margaritas (compared to normal Boston prices). Afterwards, you could walk around the Harvard campus
