It’s perhaps the best ice cream in the entire state of Massachusetts. I love them. They make all of their own ice cream, and they just make flavors that I love, and that no one else makes. They even make a plain ice cream with chunks of brownie in it — a flavor that I’d imagined for so many years, but never found anywhere. The brownies are fudgy, soft, delicious, and in big chunks all throughout. Their Baklava is my favorite, I get it every time I go. It’s also the only place I’ve ever seen it (technically New City makes a baklava ice cream, but it’s a deconstructed baklava; it’s shreds of phyllo, walnuts, honey, and spices. Cal’s is plain ice cream with big hunks of baklava throughout. Both good. I like Cal’s better, I think)
