Adaptive Recreation Fair

Join DCR’s <a href="http://www.mass.gov/dcr/universal-access">Universal Access Program</a> and other adaptive recreation organizations for an accessible and inclusive day of fun and networking along the Charles River!  Enjoy adaptive cycling, adaptive pickleball, service dog demonstrations, music, refreshments, and adaptive hiking, surfing, and fencing equipment demonstrations! There will be family-friendly activities including face painting, adaptive golf, and lawn games.  Find out about adaptive recreation programs across the state! Pre-Registration is recommended. Family-friendly, accessible, and inclusive activities include: cycling with an assortment of adaptive cycles, adaptive pickleball, golf, face painting and kite decorating, sidewalk chalking, equipment demonstrations, bubble blowing, games, music, and much more. Find out about adaptive summer programs across the state! Please pre-register, especially if you need an accommodation or would like to try adaptive equipment or go cycling. You can pre-register <a href="https://forms.office.com/g/vpwJWbE3Xf">online</a>, or by calling Teri at <a href="tel:4134617126">(413) 461-7126</a>. When requesting accommodations, please allow at least two weeks (14 days) advance notice. Last minute requests will be accepted, but we may be unable to fulfill the request.  Volunteers are also welcome for help with face painting, cycling, hiking, adaptive games, refreshments, and other stations!
