$10 Commuter Rail Weekends and Holidays

Enjoy unlimited travel on the&nbsp;Commuter Rail&nbsp;for just $10 every weekend. Passes are valid on all lines and zones, <a href="https://www.mbta.com/fares/commuter-rail-weekends">Saturday, Sunday, and select holidays</a>. You’ll have the freedom to explore multiple stops, lines, and attractions, so you can travel as much or as little as you please for only $10. To get your weekend pass:<ul><li>Buy on the mTicket app, available from iTunes and Google Play</li><li>Stop by the ticket windows at North, South, and Back Bay stations</li><li>Buy on board with cash or credit</li></ul>Weekend passes are not available at fare vending machines or retail sales locations. <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mbta-mticket/id560487958?mt=8">Download mTicket</a> Using Your Weekend Pass: Weekend passes are valid for unlimited trips on the Commuter Rail starting with the first scheduled trip on Saturday morning and ending with the last scheduled trip on Sunday evening. Once you activate an mTicket, it can be reactivated for every Commuter Rail trip you take until the weekend is over. Tickets are only valid for one weekend. Please note, children age 11 and under ride the MBTA for free. Groups including 10 or more children (regardless of the number of chaperones), must register their travel using the&nbsp;<a href="https://passprogram.mbta.com/FieldTrip/Signup.aspx">field trip form</a>. Passes are not valid for:<ul><li>Special event trains to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.mbta.com/destinations/gillette-stadium">Foxboro/Gillette Stadium</a> </li><li><a href="http://capeflyer.com/">CapeFLYER service</a></li></ul>$10 HOLIDAY PASSES: You can buy $10 Commuter Rail tickets on select holidays. There will be two types of discounted holiday passes:<ul><li>$10 Holiday Weekend Pass:&nbsp;For holidays that fall on a Monday or a Friday, including Thanksgiving Day which falls on a Thursday. Available to buy on the Monday before each holiday weekend until the end of the holiday weekend.</li><li>$10 Holiday Pass:&nbsp;For holidays that don’t coincide with weekends, such as July 4th. Available to buy seven days before the holiday until the end of the holiday.</li></ul>You can buy holiday passes on the mTicket app, onboard trains, and at station ticket windows. When buying, the holiday pass will appear with the coinciding holiday name. Standard $10 weekend passes will still be available to buy. 2025 GBTU Women's Fly Casting Clinic (Free!)

Welcome to 2025 Greater Boston Trout Unlimited Women's Fly Casting Clinic on Saturday, June 14th (9am-12pm) in <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/15Bh3DL_wW2_P-1SlgQ0UtDpFrr2-9YKs/view?usp=sharing">Herter Park along the Charles River</a> in Boston. This free and open-to-the-public event is designed to introduce women of all skill levels to the art of fly casting. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, this Saturday morning clinic aims to introduce beginners to a new passion, enhance your fly fishing abilities, and foster a supportive community of women anglers.   Join us for a morning filled with education and camaraderie as we delve into the captivating world of fly fishing. Our Women's Fly Casting Clinic offers a safe and encouraging environment where you can learn and develop the fundamental skills necessary for successful fly casting.   At the clinic, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced female instructors, like Cynthia Harkness of Fearless Fly Fishing, who are passionate about sharing their knowledge, getting women engaged on the waters and helping you learn. They will guide you through each step of the casting process, focusing on proper techniques, body mechanics, and the nuances of different casting styles.   In addition to the instructional demonstrations, the clinic will provide ample opportunities for hands-on practice, and Q&amp;A. You'll have the chance to connect with fellow participants, share experiences, and hopefully build lasting friendships with like-minded women who share an interest in fly fishing.   By the end of the morning clinic, you will have gained some confidence in your casting abilities and acquired the fundamental skills necessary to enjoy the rewarding sport of fly fishing along with information on additional resources to engage in the community. Whether you plan to fish in rivers, lakes, or saltwater environments, this clinic will equip you with the foundation to pursue your angling adventures with proficiency and joy.   Come join us at our Women's Fly Casting Clinic and embark on an exciting journey of learning, empowerment, and connection in the world of fly fishing!
