Winter Clothing Drive with Emerald Necklace Conservancy and ABCD

The Emerald Necklace Conservancy is excited to announce the return of the Winter Clothing Drive! Now in its sixth year, they partner with ABCD (Action for Boston Community Development) for this annual tradition to supply families in need with cold-weather gear, to keep warm and enable them to enjoy the outdoors year-round. To date, they have collected over 5,000 items! This year, ABCD requests items including:

Coats, sweaters and other warm clothing

Winter accessories such as hats, scarves and gloves

Warm bedding and blankets

Baby and toddler clothing

Rain covers for strollers

They are looking for new partners to help collect winter clothes! Have a few hours to give? They also need volunteers to help sort and organize donations at the Curley House. Whether you want to set your business as a public drop-off site, host a donation drive at your office, or sort donations with the Conservancy, please reach out to Maya Diaz at mdiaz@emeraldnecklace.org to see how your team can help keep our neighbors warm this winter! We will provide a donation box and flyers to share. The 2026 Winter Clothing Drive will run from Monday, October 19 to Thursday, November 19. If you are interested in partnering, please reach out by Friday, October 16. Drop Off Locations:

Curley House (350 Jamaicaway, Boston, MA 02130)

Shattuck Visitor Center (125 the Fenway, Boston, MA 02115)

City Feed & Supply (66A Boylston Street Boston, MA 02130)

City Feed & Supply (672 Centre St Jamaica Plain, MA 02130)
