The Climb is the world's largest event raising funds and awareness for the mental health of new families, and is operated by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.postpartum.net/" target="_blank">Postpartum Support International</a>&nbsp;(PSI). PSI provides direct peer support to families, trains professionals, and provides a bridge to connect them.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.postpartum.net/learn-more/pregnancy-postpartum-mental-health/" target="_blank">Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders</a>&nbsp;are the most common complication of pregnancy and childbirth, affecting 1 in 7 mothers and 1 in 10 fathers. We Climb Because… <a href="http://www.bostonbirthvillage.com/" target="_blank">Boston Birth Village</a>&nbsp;provides community, education and support for the Greater Boston Community! We offer classes and groups for those who are expecting a baby or postpartum. We are so excited to host our second annual climb to raise funds and awareness for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.&nbsp; How You Can Help 1. ‘Click Donate’: Any contribution goes a long way to support the mental health of new families.&nbsp; 2. Click ‘Join Team’ to attend Team Boston’s Climb :&nbsp;Our fundraising walk will take place Sunday, September 29, 11-12:30 at 60 Stein Circle in Newton MA. Climb events help us raise awareness, mobilize resources &amp; connect survivors, providers, businesses, &amp; community members.
