Support our newest troops with The Red Cross just before bootcamp in Southie's Seaport Monday, or Tuesday mornings!

Volunteer at the MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) office in South Boston's Seaport at 495 Summer St. on Mon, or Tuesday mornings. Volunteers will be supporting newly sworn in service members and their families who are present to see them off before shipping out to basic training.  Volunteers will welcome family members, take photos for families prior to the swearing in ceremony, provide a 5-10 minute briefing about how families can use the Red Cross Emergency Communication Messages, and assist with data entry. This role is invaluable to the Red Cross mission in supporting our service members and families.  Minimum shift commitment: Once a month. Shifts available: Mondays &amp; Tuesday 8 am to noon. Make a difference in these soldiers &amp; families lives in just a couple hours a week.
