We can all be a part of bringing this about by becoming a more peaceful person. An essential part of being able to benefit others is becoming stronger ourselves and creating more balance in our life. This Sunday morning meditation class will look at Buddha’s teachings on patience and on the practice of loving kindness. Each week will include:<ul><li>guided breathing meditation</li><li>a short teaching on how to access more inner calm and kindness</li><li>a practice of some short chanted prayers in English called Prayers for World Peace</li><li>a concluding contemplative time</li></ul>June Schedule: Mind Training for Modern Life June 7 - Working With the Hard Parts of Change Train in the three difficulties June 14 - Go All In With Your Practice It is important to train deeply and encompass all June 21 - Turn Problems Into Practice Always meditate on special cases June 28 - Become Mentally Steady Do not be unstable Cost:&nbsp;$15 / free for members.Pay at the door or register in advance at:&nbsp;<a href="https://www.meditationinboston.org/sundays-in-cambridge">https://www.meditationinboston.org/sundays-in-cambridge</a> Location:&nbsp;This event will be held at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston, located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. There is free street parking on Sundays. Gen Kelsang Khedrub&nbsp;is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston. He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 30 years. Gen Khedrub has served as a Resident Teacher in Chicago and in Seattle, and over the years he has taught special events and led meditation retreats around the country. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone.
