Songbuilders' Soiree

Songbuilders' Soiree is a celebration of music, community, and the spirit of play. It's a magical musical journey that brings together featured songwriters, an audience choir, and a backing band, creating a unique and majestic experience. Join us for the fun, appreciate the artistry, and become part of our delightful community. WHY DO WE DO IT LIKE THIS? Music is a Social Technology, that helps us deeply connect to ourselves and others. Often, music is commodified — made into a neat “finished product.” While that’s not always bad, it can reduce vulnerability, immediacy, and full-spectrum authenticity from artists and concert goers alike. The structure and intention of the soiree welcomes us into a collaborative & communal creative process. Each song goes beyond what the songwriter could have imagined alone -- and you can't get any closer to the inspiration. Each of us brings our gifts and presence to co-create this field of inspiration. ✨FLOW OF THE NIGHT ✨ 6pm DOORS -- buy some drinks at the bar! 6:30pm SHOW BEGINS!! Warm up then 4 songwriters with mini intermissions throughout 9:30 SHOW ENDS + party continues upstairs We recommend buying tickets ahead of time, and they are cheaper than at the door :) If you're interested in being a featured songwriter, fill out this form. Keep in mind that we are NOT looking for only professional musicians and finished songs. The magic is in the co-creation! PLUS! We’ll ask for anyone interested to put their name in the hat, and they’ll be picked DURING the show!! And come up on stage as the 3rd songwriter. 🙋💁🏽THINGS PEOPLE HAVE ACTUALLY SAID💬🫂🎤 "This is better than Jacob Collier" “This feels like a wedding -- I love weddings!" "This is actually a dream come true” — songwriter who shared their song!
