Sip & Sculpt Pottery Workshop — 8/7 (Cambridge MA)

Grab a drink and join us for this inclusive, beginner-friendly pottery workshop at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.julietsomerville.com/wine-bar">The Juliet Social Club</a>! First, our expert host will cover all the basics, and with step-by-step instructions, you'll learn to handbuild a pinch pot. Then, you'll learn how to sculpt and decorate your pot into a variety of functional pottery pieces like a vase, hanging planters, pot for an air plant, candle holders, tic-tac-toe boards and more. Details: Thursday 8/7 from 6:30-8:30PM at Juliet Social Club (257 Washington St. Somerville, MA 02143) Delicious cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks + food from Juliet Restaurant will be available for purchase!! Each ticket includes:<ul><li>2 hour workshop on pottery basics, how to create pinch pots, coils, and how to transform them into a variety of unique handmade gifts, home décor and functional pottery</li><li>All the clay, tools, and materials needed to make your pottery</li><li>You'll make + take home 1-2 pieces of pottery</li><li>Pottery trivia with fun prizes from small businesses :)</li></ul>Note: You can let your piece of pottery air dry then paint it with the included paint. Or, to make your pottery waterproof + foodsafe,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.potterywithapurpose.com/products/upgrade-to-ceramic-clay-from-air-dry">click here</a>&nbsp;to upgrade to ceramic pieces, which includes glazing and firing of your creations.
