Sip & Sculpt Pottery Class — 4/4 (Cambridge MA)

Join us for this inclusive, beginner-friendly pottery class at Mamaleh's! Sip on a drink from Mamaleh's and sculpt your very own masterpieces (or two!) from clay! Our expert host will cover all the basics, and with step-by-step instructions, you'll learn to handbuild a pinch pot from clay. Then, you'll learn how to make your pot into a variety of functional pottery pieces like a vase, hanging planters, pot for an air plant, candle holders, smiley planter pals, and more. Details: Friday 4/4 from 6-8PM at Mamaleh's Delicatessen Cambridge (15 Hampshire St, Cambridge, MA 02139) Your ticket includes a beverage from a selection curated by Mamaleh's - boozy milkshakes, anyone!? The full food menu will be available for purchase throughout class. Each ticket includes:<ul><li>A beverage from a selection curated by Mamaleh's&nbsp;</li><li>2 hour workshop on pottery basics, how to create pinch pots, coils, and how to transform them into a variety of unique handmade gifts, home décor and functional pottery</li><li>You'll make + take home 1-3 pieces of pottery</li><li>Our signature&nbsp;'Beginner Pottery Kit'&nbsp;which includes everything&nbsp;you need&nbsp;to make your pottery during class&nbsp;(and yours to take home to&nbsp;create&nbsp;more after class!!)</li></ul>Note: You can let your piece of pottery air dry then paint it with the included paint. Or, to make your pottery waterproof + foodsafe,&nbsp;upgrade to ceramic pieces, which includes glazing and firing of your creations.
