Roslindale Film Society: The Blues Brothers

Thursday, September 19th at the Square Root In Partnership with Roslindale Porchfest It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it. John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd star as Jake and Elwood Blues, who embark on a mission from God to save the orphanage they grew up in by reuniting their old band and performing a series of concerts. Along the way, they encounter comedic mishaps, thrilling car chases, and unforgettable musical performances. Doors are open at 6:15 pm. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The film screening begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 presale/$12 at the door.
