Her classes are designed to help students drop into their bodies, quiet mental chatter, and invoke a sense of lightness and ease. Her hope is that students leave her class feeling a sense of grounding and clarity, so they can get on with their day and fulfill their unique purpose. Sundays: Claire Metrick Claire began practicing yoga over a decade ago, initially drawn to the physical postures through her background in biomechanics. Over time, she came to appreciate the deeper benefits of the practice and now integrates all its elements into her teaching in a practical, everyday way. She has completed 200- and 300-hour trainings with some of Boston’s top teachers and leads playful, dynamic Yoga and Pilates classes in various formats across the city. When she’s not on her mat, you’ll find Claire on her bike, at the lab bench, in the kitchen, or at a rock show. A native Texan, she’s not afraid to throw in a “y’all” now and then.
