Release and Remember: A Winter Solstice Journey with Emily Peterson & Allison Talis 

The body holds our memories, our inherited epigenetic road map, and our present patterning. This workshop works with and through the body to release, untangle, and create new neural pathways towards integration.&nbsp; We will begin with a guided, improvisational Soul Dance-Movement Practice, that engages somatic awareness to facilitate personal growth, emotional well-being, and collective healing. This welcoming, no eye-contact practice does not require any dance experience. Be prepared to move and sweat- knowing you are in full control of the intensity and pace for yourself.&nbsp; Next, we will practice a yin sequence to slowly deepen into somatic contemplation of ancestral patterns. We will tap into our innate ancestral resilience and resources. Finally we’ll close with a guided meditation reflecting on our inner light and the hope that lies in the heart of the winter solstice. Bring a yoga mat (mats are available to rent for $3 in studio), journal, water, and socks and a sweatshirt or even an extra set of clothes, as you might get sweaty.&nbsp; There will be a five minute break in between the movement and the stillness portions to help facilitate warmth and comfort in the yin/mediation practices.&nbsp; Cost: $55
