The thrill goes beyond the track this year with a major headline moment: electronic duo Louis The Child will bring a live block party performance to 5th Street (adjacent to Union Market) on Saturday, October 11, presented by Nü Androids. <a href="https://shotgun.live/en/events/nu-androids-presents-louis-the-child">RSVP for the Louis The Child block party!</a> The weekend will be packed with go-karting excitement for all ages (a minimum height of 58” is required), from seasoned racers to complete beginners. Each 15-minute race will accommodate six drivers, perfect for creating fun memories with family and friends. Join us for the races and stay for live music, awesome entertainment and a variety of delicious eats from Union Market District’s favorite restaurants and bars. Celebrating its first anniversary in DC, F1 Arcade joins Race the District, bringing signature food, cocktails by D.C.’s own LP O’Brien and open sim racing experiences for karting ticket holders to make this the ultimate race weekend both on the street and on virtual tracks. Rounding out the weekend, on Sunday, October 12, Songbyrd will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a free block party on 5th Street (adjacent to Union Market) featuring live performances, adding even more music and community energy.
