2026 Quincy Market Holiday Tree Arrives in Boston

The holiday season officially rolls into Faneuil Hall Marketplace on Friday, November 13, when the annual Quincy Market holiday tree arrives in Boston. The towering tree makes the trip on a flatbed truck and is hoisted into place by crane in its usual spot between historic Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, with the Custom House Tower in the background. Swing by to watch the install and see the tree before it gets dressed up for the season. Once it’s standing, crews spend the next couple of weeks transforming it with about a mile of twinkling lights and hundreds of ornaments ahead of the marketplace’s annual tree lighting celebration. It’s free to watch, and the marketplace is a short walk from the State, Haymarket, and Government Center T stations.
