Pottery + Shucking: Oyster Platter Painting & Tasting

Join local artist Amanda Bentley and East Boston Oysters at The Shared Palette for an oyster shucking lesson followed by a guided ceramic painting workshop to bring a locally-made ceramic oyster platter to life! After eating some fresh, local oysters, you'll create your very own painted ceramic piece using underglaze. At the event, we'll supply all the materials you need to design and paint the hand-crafted ceramic piece. Class is suitable for adults and mature teens of all skill levels. Grab some food and drinks from around Bow Market, then come let you creativity flow! Can't make the class? Book time during our Open Studio hours to work on our other ready-to-paint pottery kits at your own pace. Visit www.thesharedpalette.com for more.
