Pilates in Support of Urbanity Dance

Join us for a special Pilates fundraiser class led by Danielle Pastuszak, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Pilates Instructor, and proud Urbanity 2 Dance Company alum. This all-levels pilates class will focus on strength, stability, and mindful movement designed to support both your body and your community. Sunday, February 22 | 5:00–6:00pm Urbanity Dance – Central Location 725 Harrison Ave #100, Boston All donations support Urbanity Dance’s Movement Meets program, helping make dance and movement accessible to all. Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one! Urbanity can provide a few mats on hand. <a href="https://www.urbanitydance.org/movement-meets">Movement Meets</a> is a dance workshop series that empowers community members who share various life experiences – such as physical and mental disabilities, Parkinson’s Disease, and housing and food insecurity – to find their physical and emotional voices, while simultaneously combating symptoms and building community. Participants draw from the power of movement through styles such as freestyle, contemporary, and street dance to communicate, connect, empathize, and “meet” their challenge to find healing.
