Mapparium® globe FREE for Boston Marathon runners

Marathon runners get free admission to the Mapparium® globe in the How Do You See the World?® experience when they present their running bib between April 17–26, 2026. When you arrive, please head to the Welcome Desk to redeem your free ticket and book your 20-minute Mapparium globe tour. Your Eventbrite ticket is only an RSVP to the event; it is not your ticket for your free Mapparium globe tour. You will need to show your Boston Marathon running bib to redeem your free ticket at the desk. Interactive exhibits in the How Do You See the World?® experience explore the world through a lens of hope, progress, and generosity. <ul><li>Mapparium® globe (ticketed): Walk into a three-story, stained glass globe that shows the world as it was in 1935—and see the progress.</li></ul><ul><li>Our World: Mapping Progress (free): Read modern-day news stories from The Christian Science Monitor that celebrate humanity's advancements in human rights, scientific breakthroughs, and more. This Pulitzer Prize-winning news source was founded in 1908 by Mary Baker Eddy. </li></ul><ul><li>Christian Science and Mary Baker Eddy (free): Learn about the remarkable life of Mary Baker Eddy (1821-1910), who discovered and founded Christian Science and its global church. You can listen to individuals share recorded accounts of Christian Science healing.</li></ul><ul><li>Special MA250 exhibit about Mary Baker Eddy: Dive deeper into Eddy’s revolutionary ideas, historical legacy, and groundbreaking achievements in a time when women had very little religious or institutional authority.</li></ul><ul><li>Visiting with children? The How Do You See the World?® experience offers an Explorer’s Activity Book just for kids, as well as coloring pages during April School Vacation week (April 21-26) </li></ul>Please note that we will be closed on Monday, April 20 for Patriots’ Day.
