MA250: Boston Tea Party Special Anniversary Walking Tour

Join Hub Town Tours for a special commemoration of the Boston Tea Party that took place on Dec 16, 1773! We’ll travel the Freedom Trail in Downtown Boston and the North End and share the gripping story of a small colonial town careening toward war with the British Empire. Along the way, your historian guide will recount the defiant local protest against the Tea Act, placing this pivotal event in the broader context of the beginning of the American Revolution. This historic walking tour highlights Boston’s principal role in colonial agitation against taxation without representation, concluding in time for guests to enjoy the commemorative activities at historic landmarks including the Old South Meeting House, site of the town meeting held before that infamous Destruction of the Tea.<br>
