Your next love affair – be it with a book, a cozy reading nook, or our community of romance literati – awaits… The female-owned, romance-themed bookstore features a café and wine bar operated by George Howell Coffee where guests can enjoy coffee and tea - as well as wine and nonalcoholic options in the evening - paired with sandwiches and pastries from local artisan purveyors. Cafe &amp; Wine Bar By George Howell Coffee The George Howell Coffee café at Lovestruck Books continues George’s passion for “putting coffee farmers front and center” through rotating single-origin offerings, as well as seasonal craft beverages. The premium coffee roaster highlights the complex terroirs of these single-origin offerings through rotating selections of espresso, drip coffee, Modbar single-cup pour overs, coffee flights, and specialty and seasonal beverages. An array of pastries and charcuterie can also be ordered, featuring local artisan vendors, including Formaggio Kitchen. Every evening, the café’s coffee bar, operated by George Howell Coffee, transforms into a wine bar, with a curated selection of fine wines, artisanal cheeses, and expertly crafted charcuterie boards, all within the cozy and inviting ambiance of our bookstore. Unwind with a glass of wine while getting lost in the pages of a book picked from the carefully curated shelves. Similar to the premium coffee roaster’s ethos of highlighting single-origin offerings from complex terroirs, the wine bar menu features small production, minimal intervention, intentional wines, ranging from your favorite bottles found in local Boston haunts to rare bottles of Balkan Wedding from Bulgaria. In addition to the wine selection, there is a small menu of cocktails and non-alcoholic offerings available.
