There's live music almost every day of the week. About The Burren: Since our opening in January 1996, we have built reputation for serving up a truly authentic Irish experience. Being in the heart of Davis Square, we're only steps from the red line and Somerville Theatre and just a short walk to Tufts University. In addition to a great menu and wide selection of drinks, we have become the hottest live music venue, with nightly shows featuring local, national and international acts. Shows include all genres from Irish Traditional, Folk, Americana, Bluegrass and Jazz, to Rock, Pop, Indie and everything in between. Our Guinness beef stew, vegetarian shepherd's pie and Fish and Chips are guest favorites. We also boast a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options. Enjoy one of our signature cocktails, a glass of wine or draft beer, while you enjoy the ambience, some good conversation and great live music.
