Judi Mark "Merely Marvelous" the Songs of Gwen Verdon

JUDI MARK BRINGS “MERELY MARVELOUS: THE SONGS OF GWEN VERDON” TO BOSTON BOSTON, MA — Judi Mark, acclaimed performer, dancer, singer, actor, and dance educator, brings her celebrated one-woman tribute “Merely Marvelous: The Songs of Gwen Verdon” to Boston’s Club Café for an encore performance in the Napoleon Room. “Merely Marvelous” celebrates the extraordinary artistry, humor, sensuality, and theatricality of Gwen Verdon through song, dance, stories, and Mark’s personal connection to the legendary women who shaped musical theater. Mark is accompanied by Music Director Dan Pardo, with arrangements by Ian Herman and Tex Arnold, and direction by Jeff Harnar. A lifelong dancer and performer, Mark brings a unique perspective to the artists she celebrates. Her performance honors Verdon not simply as a Broadway legend, but as an artist whose style, spirit, and influence continue to inspire generations of dancers and performers. Mark has performed her one-woman shows at venues throughout the country, including Delray Playhouse in Florida and New York City venues such as The Triad Theater, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, and Don’t Tell Mama. Her work has earned critical recognition, including a 2025 BroadwayWorld nomination for Best Tribute Show. Part musical celebration, part biography, and part love letter to Gwen Verdon, “Merely Marvelous” promises an entertaining and heartfelt afternoon for Broadway fans, dancers, and anyone who loves the magic of a true theatrical icon.
