Jack's Abby Maifest - Welcome Spring With German Traditions, Exclusive Beer Hall Releases and Fun For The Whole Family

&nbsp;<a href="https://jacksabby.com/">Jack’s Abby</a>&nbsp;celebrates the arrival of spring with their yearly&nbsp;Maifest&nbsp;event.&nbsp;&nbsp; Maifest&nbsp;is a traditional German festival to celebrate the beginning of spring and is the counterpart to the legendary Oktoberfest celebration.&nbsp; Jack’s Abby annual&nbsp;Maifest&nbsp;celebration includes traditions such as cask tapping, decorating the Maypole with colorful ribbons and flowers, live music, dancing, and&nbsp;Maifest&nbsp;King &amp; Queen competition. The kitchen at Jack’s Abby is also in celebration mode, creating menu additions that reflect the festival’s roots in German communities. Guests can expect: pork knuckle with German potato salad and sauerkraut. German chocolate cake, potato pancakes, cheesy spaetzle and Flammkuchen pizza.&nbsp;&nbsp; Jack's Abby is releasing three beer hall exclusives for&nbsp;Maifest:<ul><li>Maifest&nbsp;- a Festbier lager featuring Pilsner malt and noble hops for a sweet and balanced taste. ABV 5.8%.</li><li>Maibock Hurts Like Helles - Brewing things the old school way is “bock” breaking work. Maibock Hurts Like Helles is a take on a traditional Helles Bock. This unfiltered, golden lager is exceptionally drinkable for its strength. A light noble hop character balances the smooth sweet finish. ABV 6.5%</li><li>Ratskeller Kellerbier - This is an insiders’ lager named after underground bars of Germany. It’s unfiltered, golden and brewed for the people. ABV 5.0%</li></ul>This year&nbsp;Maifest&nbsp;is packed with fun activities for the whole family including flower crown making, balloon animals and a petting zoo.&nbsp; Maifest&nbsp;will be held on the expansive Jack's Abby patio. In the event of rain,&nbsp;Maifest&nbsp;will be inside the Jack's Abby Beer Hall.&nbsp; All are welcome! Dirndls and lederhosen encouraged!
