Insight Society: A Psychotherapy Group for Women with Sarah Schermerhorn

Insight Society: This Psychotherapy Group for Women is a 10-week mindfulness-based group psychotherapy program developed for folks who identify as female.&nbsp; This structured group setting is designed to help participants gain insight into their relational, behavioral, and cognitive patterns, which often contribute to the challenges of daily life. Throughout the program, you can expect to learn effective strategies for understanding and regulating your emotions while simultaneously experiencing how interpersonal engagement provides an opportunity to build community and reduce feelings of isolation. One of the key benefits of group psychotherapy is its ability to promote self-awareness, emotional expression, and interpersonal growth. The group will begin by emphasizing creating a safe and supportive atmosphere and evolve to a place where the yoga practice, combined with specific structured prompts, will foster trust and authenticity among participants. Led by licensed psychotherapist and hot power flow instructor Sarah Schermerhorn, LMHC, this group will help you cultivate mindfulness practices that improve mental health and provide an opportunity to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression. Each group will begin with a 30-minute vinyasa practice, and follow with a 60-minute psychotherapy group. Please bring a mat and a water bottle each week. The group size is limited to twelve people, so please do reach out to ensure enrollment. Cost: $1,250 Cost includes the intake session and the 10 weekly sessions &amp; is not able to be prorated for any missed sessions. This program is not eligible for the YogiPass 20% off discount.
