Innovation Trail 2024 Kick-Off Tour

What's better than helping us kick-off our 2024 tour season? Helping us kick-off our tour season&nbsp;AND&nbsp;getting some custom Innovation Trail swag! Our opening weekend of Innovation Trail tours celebrates the incredible STEM museums of Boston and Cambridge. No other city has so many STEM-focused museums within walking distance of each other.. On this tour, we'll get you inside a very special museum that isn't ordinarily open to the public: Verizon's museum of the telephone, which contains an incredible collection of early telephone equipment, as well as a recreation of Alexander Graham Bell's lab that was overseen by his assistant, Thomas Watson. Then, we'll walk together and discuss several other key places on The Innovation Trail, before wrapping up at Mass. General Hospital's Museum of Medical History and Innovation. For those who'd like some bonus exploration, we'll help you find the Ether Dome — the operating theater in the oldest part of Mass. General, where the first surgery using anesthesia was performed. When you join us for this kick-off tour, it'll be easy to enter (and win!) a limited edition embroidered Innovation Trail hat: all you need to do is post photos on social media from both of the museums we visit, and tag The Innovation Trail. Note:&nbsp;<a href="https://trytn.com/en/cambridgehistoricaltours/Details/3f199dc1-b1da-4807-88c6-af45ab5736e5?typeOfProduct=activity" target="_blank">Walking tours</a>&nbsp;of the Cambridge side of The Innovation Trail happen every Saturday through May 18th, then shift to every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the rest of the summer and fall. This Boston tour is not held regularly — so we hope you can join us!
