G'24: Gilman Square Arts & Music Festival

In partnership with the Somerville Arts Council, the Gilman Square Neighborhood Council invites you, your families, and friends to a great annual end-of-summer event. The Gilman Square Arts &amp; Music Festival (the "G'24") will happen on Saturday, September 14th. (Rain date = Sunday 9/15.) <a href="https://vimeo.com/776001335/e5793c2628">Fun 60-second video from the 2022 festival here</a>. As with previous years, we'll have activities for kids and adults, many local artists, NINE (!!!) food vendors including nationally recognized <a href="https://www.sarmarestaurant.com/">Sarma</a>, and four musical acts performing on the Mad Oyster Studios campus. Oh, and we have an award-winning acrobatic artist doing multiple performances. Live music includes:<ul><li>12 pm: The Goonie Birds - folk music for kids</li><li>1pm: <a href="https://mattheatonmusic.com/">Matt Heaton</a>: adult-enjoyable kids' music ("toddlerbilly")</li><li>2pm: Weird Frenz: (Indie-alternative)</li><li>3:10 pm: <a href="https://thespicycondiments.com/">The Spicy Condiments</a> (jam band, Grateful Dead, Phish, etc.)</li></ul>Getting there: Parking is very limited in the neighborhood. Please consider biking or walking. Or take the MBTA Green E line to the Gilman Square Stop. The Festival is just across the tracks. 12pm - 5pm Admission is FREE
