From Print to Screen: Collage Workshop

Cut, arrange, glue — then see the same ideas come alive on screen.
Start by making a paper collage with Somerville Media Center's gallery artist, Michele O'Brien. Then discover collage film: movies built from old found footage, and animation made by moving paper cut-outs frame by frame. Then try it yourself with two short demos: editing free public-domain video in Premiere or Final Cut, and animating cut-outs in Canva.

This class is hosted by Somerville Media Center, a nonprofit public access media center. It is free for members and $30 for non-members.
