Fresh Prospects: New Bounce Collective and Ollie Mann

The Red Room at Cafe 939 proudly presents Fresh Prospects, a free concert series spotlighting Boston’s emerging artists. Curated by Berklee students with an ear for talent, this series offers an intimate glimpse into the music scene’s future, featuring local performers making waves and capturing attention.  New Bounce Collective is one of the latest bands out of Berklee that fuses the sounds of hip-hop, jazz, and R&amp;B to create a breath of fresh air. They began to gain traction online after posting their Dorm Room Jam video series with content that has amassed 4 million plus views online, capturing the attention of the music world. These young men channel a finesse seen in seasoned musicians and performers, however, the best is truly yet to come. With new music from their group on the way this year, an oracle is not needed to see that the future is bright for this group of students.  Ollie Mann is a funk-pop vocalist, songwriter, and performer from Austin, Texas. He leads the One Mann Band, a powerhouse ensemble of seven musicians known for their infectious energy. Drawing inspiration from legends like Teddy Swims, Stevie Wonder, and Vulfpeck, Mann’s dynamic sound blends soulful vocals with vibrant grooves. The One Mann Band’s high-energy performances always leave the crowd buzzing and craving more.
