Free Beginner Charleston Lessons in Cambridge

Free Dance Studio presents a free beginner Swing/Charleston 90 minute workshop (we call them bootcamps). For this workshop, we'll teach you the basics of Charleston, part of the original form of swing, with some fun moves. This class is designed for pure beginners so if you've never danced before or have only a little experience with some 6-count east coast, join us to learn the original, fun, fantastic Charleston dance. We'll cover: &gt; Basic Charleston footwork &gt; Charleston combination steps including &gt; Cross-hand Charleston &gt; Tandem Charleston &gt; Sailor Kicks &gt; Authentic Charleston styling &gt; Integrating it into your Swing Date: Saturday, October 5, 2024 Time: 6:30pm - 8:00pm Where: 680 Huron Ave, Cambridge, MA Cost is absolutely FREE.
