Curling and Cocktails at The Wharf Ice Rink

Curling and Cocktails at The Wharf Ice Rink is every Wednesday, January 15 through February 19. Registration opens one week before each curling session. Don't see your session open yet? Please check back a week later. Try your hand at this traditional Olympic sport and enjoy a night on the ice—no skates needed. We've got the stones and brooms, all you need is a few friends ready to have some fun. No prior experience is required and this is not regulation play, just a great excuse to get out of the house and on the ice. When you're not curling, grab a drink or snack from the rink side concession stand or head up to Cantina Bambina for a bird's eye view of the action. Pre-registration is required for this event. THE DETAILS:<ul><li>Team size is capped at 4 people so no more than 4 people per order please. </li><li>If you have more people simply place a second order. </li><li>Each person needs a "ticket". </li><li>If there are 4 people in your group, please request 4 tickets.</li><li>We do not need the names of your teammates at registration.</li><li>Please note, no more than 12 people can be on the ice at the same time so large groups may have to split ice time.</li><li>Check-in begins at 6:30pm. </li><li>When you arrive, you will check in at the Skate Shop and be assigned an order of go during your chosen hour. </li><li>Last check-ins accepted at 9:30 pm.</li></ul>This is not an exact science, so be prepared that you may not play the minute you arrive and times could run over a little bit-the goal is to get everyone out on the ice to have fun. You will be outdoors the entire time so dress accordingly. You do not wear skates to curl you just need flat soled shoes - no heels. Each group curling session is 10 minutes long.
