Enseñame Como Morir Trailer: https://youtu.be/x6_kzGGL0f8 Directed by Gerardo Maravilla Narrative, 14 mins, USA, 2025 After her grandmother passes away, a grieving Mexican-American woman becomes fascinated with learning what it feels like to die, believing it will allow her to feel close to her grandma in death in a way she never felt in life. Trova (No trailer) Directed by Jake Ajamian Narrative, 15 mins, USA, 2025 In 1935 Cuba, gifted female troubadour María Teresa Vera, burdened with caring for her sister and eight nieces and nephews, faces eviction and a vow to abandon music after a spiritual awakening. She has an impossible choice: honor her spiritual promise or return to the only life that ever gave her a voice. She sends for skilled guitarist Lorenzo Hierrezuelo, sharing memories of her bohemian past and sacred promise. Desperate to survive, she returns to the stage with him, debuting “Veinte Años.” As applause fills the room, María Teresa reconciles faith and art, realizing that her struggles have shaped her into a stronger artist and woman. Presente en los Grandes Eventos Trailer: https://youtu.be/dTfIgCrgCgs Directed by Pamela Martinez Documentary, 20 mins, Panama/USA, 2025 Pamela travels to Panama to visit her 6-month-pregnant sister in the hopes of healing the wounds of migratory loss since both left their home country of Venezuela due to political and economic uncertainty. On the trip, the sisters resist the feeling that they're trapped in a cycle of permanent separation by revisiting their past while trying to imagine a future of togetherness for the baby. When the Trump administration takes office, Pamela can't risk losing her student visa and is not able to attend the birth, asserting that our ways of living are inherently political.
