Somerville&nbsp;Songwriter Sessions at the Rooted Café&nbsp;presents contemporary folk singer/songwriters in concert on the first&nbsp;Saturday&nbsp;of each month. The Rooted Café features live music in an&nbsp;intimate setting, a menu featuring sandwiches, soups, desserts and&nbsp;coffees,&nbsp;and plenty of free parking. Our 9/6 performers: Christine&nbsp;Bilé&nbsp;is a Pittsfield, MA-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist&nbsp;known for her acoustic pop-folk sound and&nbsp;expressive vocals. She was&nbsp;recently featured at the Ladybug Music Festival in Wilmington,&nbsp;Delaware, and was a 2025 singer-songwriter showcase finalist at&nbsp;Solarfest, where she performed on the main stage in Brandon, VT.&nbsp;Christine is also a recipient of the&nbsp;2025 Creative Individuals Grant&nbsp;from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which supports artists&nbsp;advancing creative expression across&nbsp;the state. Her music empowers&nbsp;and uplifts listeners, blending heartfelt lyrics with captivating&nbsp;melodies.
