Deep in a century-long slumber, an enchanting Princess Aurora and her kingdom await the power of true love’s kiss in The Sleeping Beauty. This iconic production with its sumptuous sets and costumes, and host of magical characters, will transport you to a world of beauty, May 28–Jun 7.    A spectacular achievement of academic classical choreography, The Sleeping Beauty features technically demanding footwork and stunning dance. Hear one of Tchaikovsky’s greatest compositions performed live by the Boston Ballet Orchestra and enter a dreamland full of storybook magic and adventure.     “Indeed, the tutus, petticoats, vests, dresses, jackets, and other period pieces are older than most of the dancers wearing them. Created in London in the 1970s by prominent theater designer David Walker, the costumes have appeared in hundreds of shows over the years.
