Saturday, April 11 | 1:00–1:30PM &amp; 1:30-2:00PM Roxbury Public Library – Community Room 149 Dudley St, Roxbury, MA 02119 Free!&nbsp; Blackness in Boston, The Colonial Era&nbsp;is a 30-minute interactive edutainment workshop, geared towards students in grades K–8 and their families,&nbsp;exploring Boston’s Colonial period through British, colonist, and Black perspectives.&nbsp;&nbsp;Part of the larger “History of Boston Through the American Descendants of Slavery (ADOS) Perspectives” series,&nbsp;through storytelling, music, and hands-on participation, students will learn how history looks different depending on whose voices are included Parking &amp; Accessibility: Free parking lot next to the library with accessible ramp at the front entrance. The Community Room is on the left upon entering. Public WiFi available.&nbsp;The Roxbury Branch Library is fully accessible, featuring a new elevator, a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking, and restrooms, and enhanced technology for the hearing impaired.
