Aston Magna: The Genius of the French Baroque

Aston Magna, the acclaimed historical-instrument ensemble led by Artistic Director Daniel Stepner, opens its 53rd season — "A Grand Tour" — with sonatas and cantatas of Rameau, Clérambault, and others, performed on period instruments. Dominique Labelle, soprano; Daniel Stepner, baroque violin; Laura Jeppesen, viola da gamba; Michael Sponseller, harpsichord. Tickets $50 advance / $60 day-of; under 30s $15 (with ID); full-time students (with ID) and children free. Box office 888-492-1283. A pre-concert talk begins one hour before the performance.<br>
