You just don't know what to do with it in the moment it's happening — in the middle of an argument, a moment of grief, a flash of anxiety or self-doubt. That gap — between understanding and actually changing — is exactly what this day is for. We are all capable of applying the dharma and freeing ourselves from the patterns that weigh us down and cause our suffering. Join Tibetan Buddhist Master Anyen Rinpoche and Allison Choying Zangmo as they introduce the practical and profound techniques of Vajrayana Buddhist meditation from their new book, The Flowing River of Dharma. Rather than delivering a fixed lecture, Rinpoche and Allison teach in direct response to what is alive for the people present in the room — which means the day will go exactly where it needs to go. Those who have studied with Rinpoche describe his combination of clarity, humor, and intensity - which make the dharma feel immediate rather than abstract. His commitment to these teachings is palpable — and contagious. Rinpoche and Allison will offer instructions on how to apply dharma on the spot, right when we need it most.
