Places to Donate Food & Items While Moving Out?

As the moving season is upon us I’m left with a bunch of unopened dry food goods and health/hygiene items. I usually just put stuff on the curb for people to take but these are things I think deserve a home that needs them. Does anyone know of any good shelters or pantries etc that would take unopened food items or soaps etc?

Women’s Lunch Place on Newbury St

When I volunteered there a couple years ago, they were always welcoming unopened food & female health/hygiene items. You should give them a call and totally donate there if they’re accepting donations!

    Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House Cambridge

“We accept donations of unopened, non-expired food items. We also accept hygiene and toiletry items including: diapers, wipes, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, paper towels, etc. All donated items should be dropped off at our building located at 71 Cherry Street in Cambridge.” Very thoughtful idea!
