this place just opened in downtown crossing so i haven’t been yet, but it’s on my list. it’s a listening bar with the owner’s vinyl collection and has a sushi bar downstairs, so this could be a more-low key fun night

DIY dumpling crawl in Chinatown

make a list ahead of time with places near each other (Chinatown is all walkable). we did this with a group and made a scorecard on canva for everyone to rank dumplings! so fun and different

I feel like hot pot is more than just a dinner experience!! I really like spring shabu in Brighton. It’s all you can eat veggies and noodles and it’s so good

This is a more unique and adventurous idea. They have a rinsing and changing room so you don’t have to worry about not being able to keep going about your day. Afterwards walk over to High Street Place for a drink and a bite then walk to the new WNDR Museum!

Depends on what you guys like to do, this could be a really cute birthday/date idea :) Getting a little bit competitive while having a drink can be so fun IMO!

Topgolf is a bit outside the city- right off the highway though. So fun but sometimes difficult to get a spot. They do have walk ins that you can reserve day of, but do it 2-3 hours in advance especially on a weekend

Good spot for groups, waiters for drinks while you have fun, plenty of bars inside if you have to wait. Pitchers of beer sold

This is a great place to celebrate a birthday, cute vibe, fun and great tiki style cocktails

If he appreciates being artistic at all this is so fun and anyone can do it you don’t have to be an artist at all. You could start with croissants + coffee at lakon then walk over to Tutuland.

Supercharged Entertainment

It’s out in wrentham so a bit far, but they have go kart racing, arcade games, axe throwing, digital darts and more. You should definitely book times in advance (and avoid school vacation) and it adds up, but it is so fun and unique!

I don’t know if the date will align with his birthday but i went on a date with a guy i had just started dating here and we had the best time. Funny, magical, intimate!

When is it?

I’m asking because if it’s a month+ from now I could recommend fun activities outdoors!
