    Spectacle Island

Spectacle Island on Boston Harbor Islands offers several trails and is a fun adventure to get out to via the ferry. Plan ahead with a picnic 🧺🚢

    Quincy Quarries Reservation

And blue hills. Park at Quincy Quarries and explore for a bit (including down to the first commercial railroad in America by the museum) and then cross over into the Blue Hills Reservation. It’s not hard at all, is fairly shaded and is a nice way to kill a couple of hours.
