Nice space, saw Jeff Jam here recently. Great for colder weather months. In the summer, parks are great. For non traditional, see if PKL would host you and let the kids run around on the courts for a few hours.

They have a bar, a stage for entertainers, and lots of room for kids to crawl/walk/play and parents to mingle :)

If it’s warm out, Lincoln Park

They have a section with picnic tables and seatings that I see a lot of families reserve and use for birthdays. Plus the park is amazing
