Technically in Quincy, MA but perfect location with outdoor bar/patio…beautifully maintained golf course (non members) can go and sunsets and views for days! Also a perfect spot for the 4th of July Fireworks too without having to deal with downtown Boston.

Love the setting and the view of FiDi’s high rises juxtaposed with Boston Harbor — it’s perfection!

Charles River Esplanade has great views of Cambridge and perfect backdrop for the sunset with sailboats

BU Bridge

The sun sets opposite the city skyline, but on good days the city skyline still puts on a light show

Corey hill playground in Brookline

The tallest hill in hull! Has a tower on it (i forget the name haha)

It’s not free but it’s on the 52th floor so it’s naturally one of the best places to see the sun setting (with a drink 🥂)

The Reservoir on Route 9 in Brookline

It’s a beautiful small park and the sun is incredible over the city.

Fifth floor outdoor garage at the Museum of Science

This is one of Boston’s best-kept secrets IMO 🤫 Go to the garage elevator and take it up to the fifth floor and enjoy an amazing sunset view over the Charles 🌅

Deer Island

Missed ‘that’s not the esplanade’ part! 😂 Another option is Deer Island, you get a great view of the Boston skyline from there, perfect for picnics, walks and biking.
