    Apple Picking at Russell Orchards

This place is awesome. While you’re in the area, check out the Crane Estate, Crane Beach, and/or Woodman’s for fried clams. (Also look out for our roundup for where to pick apples dropping v soon 🍎)

    shelburne farm in Stow, MA

Take the commuter train to south acton station and Uber or bike ride to Shelburne farm for the best apple picking, hay rides, and cider donuts! I personally think it’s less crowded than honey pot hill and they are 5 min away from each other!
