Love BRIX Wine Shop, both in the South End and the Financial District in Boston. And they have a stunning spot on Nantucket! The owners are best friends of 25 years and have the best palates and love to share recommendations. I have found lots of phenomenal wines here - new discoveries and old favorites!

Women and Asian owned! They have the best sandwiches and lots of sweet treats!! And there’s a bunch of locations around Boston :)

The most ELITE cupcakes and desserts. Woman owned AND she’s from the Cape. Her staff are all woman and they are so kind and outgoing and provide the best customer service. The ships ahoy cupcake is my most favorite sweet thing- ever.

Located in Southie, Somerville (Bow Market), and I think also Somerville/Arlington (pickup only) — 3 top tier confectioneries. Southie Cookie makes delicious and massive cookies (sometimes stuffed!) GCLF makes unreal chocolates (truffles, bon bons, etc) and Silver Whisk (also AAPI owned) is my absolute FAVORITE for cakes!! Try the Adzuki Bean or Salted Egg Yolk Caramel cupcakes, you won’t be disappointed 🫶
