FractalU Community-Led Classes

FractalU Boston is a collection of community-led classes by <a href="?utm_source=bostoncalendar&amp;utm_medium=listing&amp;utm_campaign=fall2026-registration&amp;utm_content=semester">Fractal Boston</a> and other locals - mostly around Somerville, Cambridge, and downtown Boston. Our fall semester runs from August 31 through October 31 and includes a 24 diverse and eclectic classes taught by neighbors across Somerville, Cambridge, and Boston. This term includes Intro to Salsa Dance, DJing with Vinyl 101, Welcome to the Replication Crisis, Chinese Political Philosophy, Textile Archaeology, How to Operate a Telescope, Personal Style Lab, and one called Death, and. Most classes meet a handful of times in small groups, in cafes, living rooms, libraries, and studios rather than lecture halls. Several are free; the rest are priced so that money isn't the reason you skip one, and some instructors offer sliding scale or scholarship spots. Classes begin on different dates throughout September and October.
