3 Bookstores In Boston Where You Can Grab A Drink

These are our top 3 picks for places to pick up a new book and enjoy it over a glass of wine, craft cocktails, or cozy cappuccino. by Nicole Rosania 1) Trident Booksellers & Cafe Trident Booksellers & Cafe opened in 1984 and since then has expanded from a small bookstore cafe to a full-service restaurant and two floors of books. Located on Newbury Street in historic Back Bay, Trident is the last general independent bookstore in Boston. Menu favorites are the lemon ricotta French toast, vegan cashew chili, and deluxe grilled cheese. Beyond the book-filled aisles, Lovestruck offers a café, romantic merchandise, and engaging events. Situated in Harvard Square, this is the location of George's first cafe in 1975 (Coffee Connection).
